change internal background color on only one page
  • This post is not something I really wanted to do, but while I own my site and it's mine to do whatever I want to with it.  I do have a sponsor who helps pay the bills and promotes my site through a company sponsor.  You could think of him as my boss.

He wanted me to add a basic forum section to my site for discussions about his product called Doggy GOO (TM)  I independantly run the review site, and have a successful video review on YouTube.  So I kind of have to do what he says.

Anyway,  I found a great easy to run and utilize forum plugin called Simple:Press forum.  It formats nicely into a page but there's parts where the black background bleeds making some links, Icons etc difficult to read.  (Black on Black)

Is there a way to change the internal background on just one individual page?

Trust me I've tried a few different remidies already

    Changing body background color code

even tried a plugin that promised to override the style code

    Nothing's worked so far

I'm not trying to use you guys as a first resource for my theme issues.  I honestly have hit a rut with my technical know-how.
